A childhood favorite for many, Alice in Wonderland, has made its way to The Renner stage. The Zane Trace Players are portraying Alice, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat, and the rest of the characters from Lewis Carroll’s classic tale. The show opened on August 6, but there are seats still available for the rest of the show times: Friday, August 7 & Saturday, August 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, August 9 at 2:30 p.m. A second set of shows will take place next week on Thursday, August 13, Friday, August 14, and Saturday, August 15 at 7:30 p.m., with the final show running Sunday, August 16 at 2:30 p.m.
Shelly Tolliver is directing with Autumn Wheeler, Hayden Weck, and Nathan Kennedy as production assistants, and Addy Weck, Hannah Fasilis, and Nate Kearns are all members of the production crew.
Due to the popularity of this play, there are two casts: the White Rose Cast, performing the first weekend, August 6 through 9, and the Red Rose Cast, performing the second weekend, August 13 through 16.
The White Rose Cast stars Eln Misel, Gianna Pozzuoli, and Elise Clark as Small, Medium, and Tall Alice, respectively. Athena Middleton, Emma Sevcik, and Avie Mosebrook take on those roles as part of the Red Rose Cast. In both weekends, Lewis Carroll is portrayed by Jerry Caganow, Readers 1 and 2 are Ashlynn Smith and Joe Pozzuoli, White Rabbit is played by Tyler Mauller, March Hare is performed by Nora Griepenstroh, the Mad Hatter is portrayed by James Every, Ada is played by Kiernan Blair, Dinah/Flower is played by Izzy Householder, Foley Guy is portrayed by Scott Robinson, King of Hearts is played by Maddox Turner, Executioner is performed by Keegan Every, Card Guards 2, 5 and 7 are played by Violet Browning, Aubrey Thompson, and Eric Turner respectively, with an additional Card Guard played by Hayden Weck, and Cordelia Plance portraying a Hedgehog/Flower. During the first weekend, the Queen of Hearts is being played by Olivia Kirkbride and the Princess of Hearts is being played by Audrey Kirkbride. For the second weekend, those same roles is being played by Andie Schmitt and Waverly Miller. An additional Card Guard, played by Kinley Pulley, is also joining the Red Rose cast. Lily Kelty is playing an additional Hedgehog/Flower as part of the White Rose Cast.

Tickets for Alice in Wonderland are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, and $8 for children 11 years and younger. Looking ahead to fall, The Renner will be bringing The Monster of Phantom Lake, the Musical to the stage the weekends of October 23 and 30. Tickets can be purchased online or in person.
