Country Crossroads Education of Yesterday Farm Show provides weekend of educational fall fun

A fall event unlike any other in the area returned on October 17 and 18 for its 22nd season: Country Crossroads Education of Yesterday Farm Show, held on Cass Irish Ridge Road in Dresden. The weekend was packed full of hands-on activities, field demonstrations, equipment demos, train rides, music, and a massive amount of farm equipment on display.

The farm show is a wonderful event for all ages, but it is especially perfect for kids. The Little Toot train rides, a Ride on the Cracker Jack Railroad, a kids’ play area, corn maze, and the chance to operate a real digger are all highlights for little ones.

Every year there is at least one new feature or improvement. Some of the newer additions made over the past couple of years include the deck at the Cracker Jack train station and a covered bridge for the large train to travel through.

At this event, there is always something to see and watch, and there are always people on the move operating machinery and driving around on tractors and equipment, adding a lot of life to the event.

Be sure to save the date for next year’s show, scheduled for October 16 and 17, 2027. More information can be found on Facebook at facebook.com/EducationofYesterday.
