‘Knot Alone: United in Purpose’ Overdose Awareness Day Community Event to take place August 31 at Zane’s Landing Park

More than 20 partners providing resources and educational activities will be joining Drug Free Muskingum, Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, and the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department for the annual Overdose Awareness Day Community Event on Monday, August 31, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. The event will be held at a new location this year, Zane’s Landing Park.

Music by K-Sound Entertainment featuring DJ Kurtis, a 3D Photobooth provided by Hardwick Events, In Memory Of fabric tying and button making activities will be held, games, crafts, a bounce house, face painting, and more can be expected. Additionally, a free meal ticket (1 per person) for Happy Camper Hot Dog Stand will be provided.

Any organizations wishing to participate by hosting a table and activity may contact Monica Doan at MonicaD@zmchd.org by August 21.

This is a great family-friendly event for all ages that focuses on education, prevention, resources, support, and remembrance.
