Vs. West Muskingum (9/11)

The Raiders hopped on the bus on Friday, headed for West Muskingum High School. Once on the field, the Tornadoes took over, taking a 7- 0 lead before the end of the first quarter. Morgan couldn’t manage to push through the West Muskingum defense and continued to fall behind, and they went to halftime with a 21 – 0 deficit.

The intermission only delayed the continued punishment at the hands of West Muskingum as they pushed through the second half. The Raiders couldn’t capitalize on their running game or their passing game. The Tornadoes kept up their scoring, eventually taking down the Raiders  44 – 0.

Morgan moves on to face Tri-Valley at Jack Anderson Stadium on Friday, September 18th, at 7 PM.

Vs. Philo (9/4)

McConnelsville hosted the Philo Electrics on Friday. The Raiders kept coming up empty-handed against Philo, falling behind 6 – 0 in the first quarter. Morgan tried to stop the Electrics, but by the end of the first half, the Raiders were facing a 19 – 0 challenge.

On the field for the second half, Philo continued to plow forward, scoring two more touchdowns to take a 33 – 2 lead into the fourth quarter. As the final minutes sped by, Philo put in their final blows, and after the dust settled, Morgan lost to the visitors 35 – 6.
