Several community partners treated children alongside mall businesses during the annual Trick-or-Treat Say Boo to Hunger held in the Colony Square Mall on Thursday, October 29.
Over 500 non-perishable items were donated, and several cash donations were made that will support efforts of The Hunger Network of Muskingum County.
“We want to thank everyone who donated, dressed up, and handed out treats, and all of the trick-or-treaters who came out and had fun!” said Colony Square Mall General Manager Jessica Brailer.
If anyone is able to and would like to donate, they can mail in monetary donations to these locations listed or drop off donations during the establishment’s business hours: HOT MEAL PROGRAM – Christ’s Table, Salvation Army, Fellowship of Christ’s Community, and Trulight Ministries. FOOD PANTRIES: Cob urn United Methodist Church, College Drive, Eastside Community Ministry, Jubilee Pantry, Lighthouse Pantry, Limestone Valley, Mt. Sterling, North Terrace Church of Christ, Roseville, South Zanesville, and Trinity Full Gospel “We Care”. For locations and hours, call 211 or visit www.freshtrak.com.
