Lady Blue Devils soccer team looking to beat Morgan on Saturday

Lady Blue Devils cordially send off their opponents at the end of the game.

Vs. Northridge (8/19)

On the road in Johnstown on a rainy Wednesday, the Lady Blue Devils met up with the Northridge Lady Vikings.  From the start, the teams were evenly paired, with the Vikings stepping up first to grab two goals in the first half of play. Zanesville answered back with two of their own goals to tie up the game by halftime at 2 – 2. 

After the break, Northridge took control of the rest of the game, doubling their score while shutting down the Zanesville offense to win the game 4 – 2.

Zanesville senior Aniah Barnett had one goal with an assist from Sadee McCuen, who grabbed the other goal. 

The Blue Devils will be in Morgan on Saturday, August 22nd to face the Lady Raiders. Game time is set for 10 AM.

Vs. Bishop Rosecrans (8/14)

On Friday, Zanesville hosted the neighboring Bishop Rosecrans girls soccer team. It was a heated battle between the two teams, but in the end, the Blue Devils took a 3 – 2 win.
